Eric is just the best character and I shipped him and sookie so much. Loved innocent and viking eric... Also Luis had already said he was away when the witch made that spell while burning, his maker died instead and any vampire within 20 miles.

2020-05-12 18:31:21 +0000 UTCLittle bit of production trivia - that sex scene between Eric and Sookie at the end of this episode - because of the way the filming schedule turned out, they ended up having to shoot that in winter, on grass that was literally frozen. I think they had a blanket under them, but it was still COLD. Plus any sex scene with those two is logistically challenging because he's at least a foot taller than she is. I can vouch for the fact that this is a real-life challenge - I'm about 5 feet 2 inches (157cm) and one of previous sexual partners was 6 feet 4 inches (193cm). So if he was on top, we got to choose between me being face-to-face with his nipples, craning my neck to try and look at him, or him having to attempt to bend forward while horizontal.... yeah. Fun times. XD

2020-05-12 17:41:44 +0000 UTCI might have liked Sookie and Eric getting together better if it hadn’t felt like rushed fan service to me too, but like I said before, I don’t really like the way Sookie only fell for Eric when he was at his most vulnerable and his personality was stripped away, and I think she liked taking care of him and protecting him, so you have a Florence Nightingale situation going on, not true love. But it’s hot sure, and they have hot sex on the ground in the woods (if you like that sort of thing. Personally I prefer a clean environment, not twigs and dirt under my ass, but that’s just me). I like Jessica and Jason better than Jessica and Hoyt, even though I don’t think that’s true love either. Jason falls in love all the time, and he’s under the influence of Jessica’s blood, but they are still kind of sweet together and hot (I am talking about the scenes you have already seen), and Jessica has screwed things up with Hoyt, but he was getting on my nerves anyways, acting like a frustrated husband and complaining that Jessica couldn’t cook. Hoyt was too used to his mom taking care of him even though he’s in his late 20’s, and he expected Jessica to take of him and cook for him too, even though she doesn’t even eat food, and he’s perfectly capable of learning how to cook for himself. He was only sweet at first, and he made a good first boyfriend for Jessica, but he’s not sweet anymore, and Jessica should just let him go, because continuing to mind-control him to avoid fighting with him is not the stuff great relationships are made of.

It’s also kind of manipulative tv because Skarsgard was so hot in that show even though he was an abusive husband to Kidman😂🤭😭 They always choose some gorgeous guy to play parts like that... sigh. But he got what was coming to him. As for True Blood, I like that Eric’s changed but yeah they rushed them getting together

Fans went crazy for them when the series originally aired but I always thought they felt rushed in these episodes. But I do love Skarsgard as innocent Eric. Speaking of Skarsgard, have you seen Big Little Lies? I know you're not taking on any new shows but I think you'd really like that one if you haven't seen it already. Great cast, very female-centric. Alexander Skarsgard is terrific in it. Lots of twists and turns. Anyway, great reaction. Looking forward to next week's episode!
