Yeah it was all about sparing Lily’s memory, not his dad. Logan wanted his dad behind bars or even dead, but after how Lily’s murder scene video leaked to press (he was extremely upset about that in a S1 flashback) can you really blame him for not wanting that sex tape to leak too? And it would have gotten out, and then people would have slut-shamed her and perverts everywhere would have gotten off to the video, because people suck.
