2020-05-29 21:55:05 +0000 UTCI love Rebekah, she is not a brat! 😉 Not a spoiler, but Rebekah adjusting to modern life is occasionally mentioned. Her moments of discovery and reactions to the modern world are part of what endear me to her character. She has an almost childlike quality to her at times. The comment "I am not a brat!" is one of the examples. There's also a warmth about her that you can't put your finger on. Damon mentioned Ric needed to get his ring checked out as it took longer to come back to life than usual. Jeremy did the right thing for once and told Bonnie. Damon is a far better choice for a diabolical road trip with Katherine. He's finally taken a beat as he is of little use to anyone. They've made that very clear. I wish they wouldn't try to inform you about how things do or do not change in further seasons. Like that in itself could ruin some characters' story development later on. I wish they would take your reactions as they are now, and comment about the relevant things to THAT episode and previous ones only. It only builds expectations of coming seasons, which may or may not let you down. I'd rather see you react without being informed by other people about what to expect lol.

2020-05-26 17:52:53 +0000 UTCThis was a fairly breezy episode, just now realizing a lot of the scenes take place outside this episode. Damon is once again being an ass then being offended when people don't approve of his behavior, it's frustrating but I also do appreciate this "relapse" in bad behavior because viewers may have believed that just because Damon isn't exactly like he was in season 1 (one of the antagonists) doesn't mean he's clear of all his fuckery. A lot of people were so in love with him these past episodes since he's sort of helping, this was a nice reminder that it doesn't matter how friendly he's gotten with everyone- he can just as easily slip back to the monster he was in the past two seasons. Killing Alaric was so incredibly uncalled for but he got his ego bruised and does what he always does...ruin things. I'm incredibly glad Caroline got some hits in and once again proves that Damon's behavior isn't about his "vampire needs" because if that was the case Stefan, Caroline, and Anna would have been a major issue. It's about his god awful personality. You and someone in the comments above me talked about how Caroline has both disapproved and approved of Delena, I think when Caroline responded to Elena's question with "it makes you human," she was talking about the situation of wanting something forbidden, since Elena is not only falling for someone else but also that person she's growing to like is the brother of her first love- but that's just how I see it. Damon also suffers from the same issue since this is his second time idolizing a woman his brother was involved with first. Katherine may have intentionally played both the brothers but it's clear she went for Stefan first and valued him more than Damon. Loved the reaction as usual!

The Writers are doing that thing again, where they have Characters dialogue about shit that don't make sense. lol - Elena: "...what does that say about me?" - Caroline: "It says you're Human." lmao..............yeah, okay sure. BTW - the conflicting emotions of Stefan are so compelling to watch, He now remembers Rebekah & Nik, but still cares for Elena, very interesting stuff. There's some moments coming up where I tend to disagree with most people about the events, but then again, what else is new.. lol - can't wait.

And I can only feel what I feel, I can’t make myself like somebody. That’s great that Damon becomes a better person later but from what I’ve seen he’s not right now. He’s manipulative and taking the opportunity to flirt with Elena and lets himself into her house whenever he wants, comes into her bed whenever he wants just because Stefan is no longer around. All I can say is I can’t make myself like him. I’m sure there are characters on tv shows that you don’t like but other people do. That’s just how it is

I understand Caroline 100% cause of the way he treated her, Alaric and him have a love/hate relationship but because of the things Damon have done he’s just trying to look out for Elena and Elena and Damon well it’s another story that I can’t talk yet...can’t wait for next episode
