To be honest this was my least favorite season. I remember I watched this showed when it was aired and it was leaked that this season would be about witches. I was so hype about it and to me it was underwhelming. The writing was cheesier than usual and the sub plots just seemed take over and be all over the place but the next season happens to be one of my favorites so I look forward to it! :)

I got into it after the first season came out on DVD, but I had to borrow it from the library. I didn’t have HBO, couldn’t afford it, but for the last 15 years or so the libraries wherever I’ve been have had lots of good TV shows on DVD. I’ve just had to wait a few months after they were released on DVD, but that’s how I watched most shows until just a couple years ago. Now I watch most things on streaming platforms. But there is still a painfully long wait in between seasons for HBO shows. The worst was waiting for the final season of Game of Thrones, and then it turning out to be such a huge disappointment, I don’t know if I’ll ever want to watch that series again. But I have rewatched True Blood several times, so that tells you something about the series (it’s superior to GoT overall).

I don't know why Maryann doesn't get more love but I thought she was fascinating. And I love the actress who played her. Great reaction! Thank you.
