Yeah I don’t see Dean as a jerk. He just likes women and they like him. As for Sam not having fun, I like that the show has written him in a realistic way. It would be odd to see him always joking or hooking up since that’s not his personality, he doesn’t want to be a monster hunter, he’s worried about the dad, and he lost Jessica. It was nice that he let Sarah in at the end but I’m glad it took him awhile and he was hesitant. This was a good episode for Sam.

I'm going to be the sole commentor again? Eek! Well, here goes.
This episode is a bit slow, in my opinion. It's decent, but I think it would have worked better earlier in the season. It's just like a filler episode, which we don't need this late in the season. It should be all plot stuff by now. We do get a bit of character stuff for Sam though. That was likely the whole purpose of the episode. For Sarah to say the things she did to Sam. For her to help him see things better. Move forward and through the effects of losing Jessica like he did.
Jared and Jensen do as many of their own stunts as they can, so it was actually them who scaled over that tall gate/fence. Jensen was first - the adorable monkey! He's quite athletic - ahem - so when you see things like that in the show, it's likely actually them and not a stunt double.
You're right - Dean made up losing his wallet, just so they can go back to the auction house and see Sarah again. Hoping they'd hook up.
The brothers really are different in personalities - mostly. Dean is trying to have what fun and enjoyment he can while living the life they live. He knows a relationship would be next to impossible, but I don't think it's not that he wouldn't want one. So, keep hookups simple and casual, because you don't want to get close since you'll be moving on likely the next day and may never see each other again. But seems that Sam doesn't think like that. He possibly doesn't want to do casual hookups, but wants more. I love him, but Sam can be a downer at times, as a road companion. He has reasons for being moody because of Jessica, because of what's happening to him with the visions and such. Wanting to be with John. So he's not into having any fun - but couldn't he try? And at least let Dean have fun. I'm sure Dean would LOVE to have Sam with him there, having some fun. Now with women! Just in general. And that's - maybe - why Dean keeps making stupid jokes. I think. He's just trying to lighten things up a bit. He's with his brother and that's all he really wants. Since he has to be hunting, he wants to do it with his family. Sorry. I do get very chatty about this stuff. My headcanon has it that with Dean, a lot of that stuff that makes him seem like a womanizer or a jerk is put on by him for show. He does easily push it aside when needed.
And that's all I have to say about this episode. Nothing really. Just a chance to chat about Dean. lol
