2020-09-23 14:29:18 +0000 UTCIt is probably not too much of a spoiler, going by the first of these minisodes, to say that you may be seeing Madame Vastra, Jenny and Strax again at some point. As to how they blend into 19th Century London, well as you said, it's Doctor Who - "just a cent it" 😉. The trio do in fact get their own audio spin off series on Big Finish Productions, which is great fun.
