I've been missing my VM reactions! π€ Yeah so as much as I enjoyed the adult version(s) of Veronica, I think we differ in the sense that I will always hold VM seasons 1-2 as superior to anything else in the canon. Season 1, IMO, was basically perfect and I know that some people like you (and Steven from Geeked Nation as well) didn't share that sentiment, which is cool. Lol can't wait for the next one!

2020-11-13 19:21:17 +0000 UTCSo, as to why it's now chief of police and not sheriff... It's never directly addressed but you can assume it's because Neptune finally incorporated. (Remember Woody's plan in season 3?) That's also why it's an actual mayor not county supervisor. Yes, the murderheads don't believe Aaron is guilty. They think because he was acquitted that means actual innocence. Plus, with our current "pics or it didn't happen" mentality and the video of Aaron and Lilly destroyed by Logan you can see why they think that way. Then we get to Veronica mentoring Maddie. I don't see it as a bad idea V taking her on a stakeout. Maddie is going to investigate regardless. With V guiding her she is far less likely to get herself killed.
