I also agree, I love seeing Jared playing the bad guy. He is great at it, and plays it well. I think it's because of his personality that he never gets those bad boy roles. I mean Sam, Dean from Gilmore girls, even Clay from Friday the 13th. He's always a "good guy" character. I think it's because hes a big goof ball like you saw in the bloopers. He's really sweet and soft at heart, but he's definitely like a big manchild😂. If you ever watch convention footage, you'll definitely see what I mean. He has, "that's what she said" kind of humour 🤣. Maybe that's why he always gets the goody/innocent roles. But even he has said he really likes playing the "bad guy" from time to time. Also love Bobby💞. Anyway glad you enjoyed the episode, see ya next time.

I agree with you about this episode. I really liked it too. I don't judge Jo much for her inability to handle possessed Sam. Sam is pretty strong to begin with, and as a demon much stronger. I didn't think there would be much she could have done. Jo was being used as bait. I think the overriding thing for Jo was what she was told by the demon and Dean telling her that it could have been the truth. Which would include what he told her about Dean and how he felt about her.
I think Sam got possessed when he was away from Dean. The demon wanted to possess Sam, so likely looked for any opportunity to do it, likely when the brothers were separated for some reason.
Jared has said that he really enjoyed playing possessed Sam. And it seems like this episode is when a lot of people started to appreciate him more as an actor. Bad Sam is pretty hot. I agree.
