This is a pretty good episode, I think. For one thing, we finally get rid of Gordon, so he's not going to be a constant threat to Sam anymore. He got obsessed about thinking that Sam is a big threat. I didn't understand why he was so focused and so obsessed with killing Sam. So I was relieved we didn't have to worry about him. I was pretty impressed, and concerned, about Sam in this episode. He's getting tougher and more hardened to what comes with the job. That's sad. The decisions are rarely ever easy ones. I don't think either one wanted to kill Lucy, but they thought it needed to happen, that there wasn't an alternative. I also liked the parts between Sam and Dean and I liked your thoughts on that. Sam does seem to be more open and sensitive. He hasn't seemed like a very effective fighter at times, but there are times you can see that he really is. I figured that he always held back because he really didn't want to fight and kill. Plus, with Dean there, he really didn't have to most of the time. Dean could take care of the harsher things, and I think Dean was okay with that, because it meant that Sam didn't have to. It's odd, though. Dean wants Sam there with him. Hunting. But he also wants Sam safe. He at least knows where Sam is this way and can ben there to protect him. But it also puts Sam at risk. Their lives are full of conundrums.
