Shameless 6x12 “Familia Supra Gallegorious Omnia!” FULL REACTION

I agree with what someone else said about this finale being tragically beautiful. I never really liked Sean and Fiona together so even though it did seem like a quick write-off for that character I didn't really mind 👋 I never thought Fiona actually regretted how she acted towards Debbie when she was pregnant, more just that she feels bad for her now and obviously she loves her and doesn't like seeing her struggle or being unable to help. I also don't think Fiona has anything to feel sorry about with how she was towards Debbie - she had every right to be pissed and disappointed and frantically trying to convince her to make a choice that would've made her (Debbie) and all of their lives a lot easier. Debbie was very misguided in everything about her decision to become pregnant which is understandable given her upbringing, but Fiona was not wrong for trying to get her out of it. Even if now Franny is part of their family and they love her. I loved Ian's speech to his boss and he was 100% right - he shouldn't have been asked that question when applying. I do agree that it's good that she and his coworkers know so that they can be supportive.

Season 7 is very good!

I haven't seen season 7 so I don't know what happens with Fiona but I thought Fiona was marrying Sean with the knowledge that he is an addict and he could relapse at any time. Also I was surprised he didn't try to fight for her more. He just said 'take care' . I guess he was lying to her for months though and they just both know that's too much to fix. The past few seasons felt like a redemption arc for Frank and that he was slighty improving but he really can't seem to not make everything about himself. This finale was kinda heartbreaking but I'm looking forward to seeing season 7 for the first time.

Something I really appreciate about Sean is that his son DOES come first. He didn't leave his son to deal with that revelation alone without an explanation so that he could try fixing things with Fiona. He actually put him first. And he didn't push Fiona. After that was revealed, he knew she wasn't going to wanna be with him, and he accepted that instead of pushing her to understand or forgive him. So proud of Ian for fighting for his job! He's finally accepting his Bipolar for what it is, an illness that he has that's not his fault, that he can manage and still live a normal (ish) life. And he's fighting for that life. And that's good. I also love that his coworkers stood by him, and that he succeeded in getting his job back. He deserves it. Like, it was dangerous for him to lie on his application as his meds could've gone off balance and he could've gone in manic and no one would know and that could be a disaster. But it's understandable, because like he said, there was a possibility they never found out and he felt that was the only way to get the job. But the moment with him contemplating going back to his old job was heartbreaking. Also, everyone throwing Frank in the river was amazing! Like, they literally just tried to kill him... They weren't on their way to save him, it was freezing cold. I just love how casually they did it. And the fact that Caleb went with them and helped makes me laugh every time! Like, the poor guy just expected to go to his boyfriends sisters wedding, and he ends up throwing his boyfriends alcoholic asshole father off a bridge instead... What a fun time! Hahaha

Yeah, finally the last episode. Youens is a good person besides the problems he has and Frank is such an asshole, but is an amazing well written character, so complex, I love it. This episode is tragically beautiful. Can't wait for u to go into season 7, one of my favorite season.
