Great news! Here in Aus, though, I don’t know if I should feel lucky or not. We’ve done really well in containing the virus, thanks largely to strong control measures by the states (we haven’t had a community case of the virus in my state for a couple of months), but the federal government are making a total hash of the vaccine rollout. They put all their faith in AstraZenica, which they’re now having to restrict because of the blood clotting issue. We still have cases coming in from overseas travelers, but they tend to be in quarantine- it doesn’t take much, though, for it to escape and spread, so we won’t get back to normal until everyone is vaccinated, which won’t be for a long time now. Still, I’d rather be here than almost anywhere else in the world! Hopefully you in the US will be able to get back to some sense of normality soon.

2021-04-16 00:47:58 +0000 UTCI had my first jab a month ago. I felt fine (a little sleepy,but no more). However,my car unexpectedly broke down (it had just had a full service) on the way back from the vaccination center - so perhaps it suffered so that I didn't have to..?
