Lol. I hadnโt realized that they knew each other when I said that, but at the same time I find it strange that everyone thinks they wouldโve been more โgentlemanlyโ if they were strangers hitting on Terry. It was sneaky, but she invited them home with her. No one forced her to take them home or to sleep with them. The situation feels off but no harm really done in my book if she never sees them again. No one reveals who they really are during hookups. Itโs also what happens when you sleep with strangers. They are strangers. Terry didnโt know anything about them and they didnโt know anything about her. Itโd be different if she wanted to have a relationship with one of them. But her goal was to have sex and so was theirโs. Itโs the gamble we all take when we hookup with people we donโt know. But we also didnโt hear any of the conversation between those three, if there was any, so it makes it easier for me to get over. If we had seen the two men talking as if they had just met in front of Terry it would feel weird later to see them knowing each other, but all we saw was them both hitting on her and dancing and then sex. We have no idea what they talked about on the way to the hotel. Terry just assumed they were strangers to each other and they didnโt correct her.

Oh wow... I can't believe you called those two guys gentlemen. For me they felt like hunters searching for their prey. I did not feel comfortable with that AT ALL. (don't get me wrong, we've all been out on nights out where we've been looking for sex, but there was something uncomfortable about it for me).

Also... loved the portrayal of sex on the period and the tampon/blood clot bit. Funny and well observed.

I agree with Sophia that it's definitely a 'trick' threesome. Even though it is consensual and not illegal, I do find it quite disturbing that they did it with the lie of pretending not to know each other. It's another example of how men work together to use women for their own gain. If they were just open with her about it I wouldn't have any issues with it . I absolutely LOVE this episode - I can't remember ever seeing drug taking being shown in such a realistic and non-judgemental way. It shows the literal highs and lows of drugs, and the performers just GET IT. Though it doesn't really move the main plot on, like you say, it really does help you to get to know Terry and Arabella well. I totally get why she kept doing more though... been there.... :D

Ahh I wondered if they knew each other. Yeah they seemed too polite to each other at the club. I mean I guess it was a little sneaky but she invited them both home with her so as long as that was consensual the details arenโt as important if she never sees them again.

So happy you're watching this and Fleabag! Btw, i think you missed it but the point of Terry's storyline was that the two guys did know each other before the threesome and lied to Terry about it. So they kind of deceived her by acting like the threesome happened spontaneously and on her terms when they actually had more power and knowledge in that situation than they let on. That scene when they're walking away is meant to show us they knew each other and that Terry maybe realised and felt uneasy about it. I actually think we see the guys talking to each other right before the other one approaches Terry in the street, but it's easy to miss. Can't wait for your reactions to the rest! This show tackles so many interesting and important questions about consent and relationships.
