I agree infact I like Tyler as a character and it’s true he doesn’t have any good connection with most of the mystic falls gang he’s hardly in the show post S2. What really makes me sad is that his character had so much more potential which I didn’t see put to use in the show much until now.

I loved how Katherine says it’s been a role of a lifetime and her little speeches to everyone Wow loved it. I liked how she winked at Damon and Damon calling her Kity Kat 😁

I don’t really like Tyler at all but I think his character and story hasn’t been done justice. It doesn’t feel like he’s friends with the main group at all. At most he’s close to Matt but I can’t see any of the other characters doing all they can to help save him if he’s in danger or anything. Seeing him at Bonnie’s funeral and him talking to Damon felt so odd to me. I can’t think of the last time he’s spoken to him. The past couple of seasons he’s been dipping in and out so that’s probably why I feel this way here. But anyway, I love the speech’s Katherine gave to everyone. She really did Caroline a HUGE favour by turning her and I’m happy Caroline recognises that.

Nadia can't do the traveler spell, because she is a vampire she can't do magic remember :)

Without spoiling everything, future episodes explain pretty well what happend with her on the other side. If you remember the plot of this season.

I don’t like that Katherine was not allowed to pass to the other side. I’m not sure how the show justified that. I mean she is evil and all that at times but I mean was she really that much worse than any other vampire? What made this different? The ONLY difference I could think of was that when Katherine was dying as a human there was that whole scene where she went to Nadias crib and there was the white light it looked like she was going to find peace... then Katherine willed herself back into her body and stole Elena’s. Maybe it was because she rejected peace. She had her chance and threw it away. I don’t know. Anyone have any theories?

This is probably one of my fav episodes of the season, but also one of my least favs bc Katherine is gone :(
I especially love the way it was filmed - the scene with all of the Mystic Falls gang together was fantastic. There was a lot of great back and forth between the characters, and it had me on the edge of my seat.
I love the fact that in the end, Katherine stood by her daughter and finally chose her. It was such a beautiful moment. And the speeches she gave everyone were so entertaining. Literally everything she said was absolutely true! Lol. And now she’s gone and we’re back to Elena full-time yayyy…. :/ jk
