The majority of the fanbase HATED this finale with a fiery passion, and just thinking about it a year and some change later depresses the fuck out of us! 🤣 It was done for pure shock value. Here's an excerpt of an EW interview that Rob Thomas did: "Well, here’s the thing, I want to keep making Veronica Mars. Kristen and I have talked about making them until it’s Murder She Wrote, and I think for the show to work that way it has to work as a noir detective show, and I think there is a reason that you don’t see many badass TV detectives with their boyfriend, or with their girlfriend. There is something romantic about that solitary P.I. figure out in the world and, also, I think there is a reason that shows tend to end when they get their romantic leads together. It’s hard to come up with interesting ways to make the relationship as vital as it was before they were together.".......WHAT?! Theres so many different ways that the show could've evolved with them being together. He stated that he made a huge bet on killing Logan and he lost. The real reason why theres no season 5 is because the fanbase quit his ass. Why would we want Veronica to travel the world solving cases without her dad or her friends? Also, the actress who played Mac was actually given a very small part (like Wallace) and declined it out of respect for her character and seriously, who could blame her? We hated it. Hated it. HATED IT. We're now the "burnt marshmallows" it's so sad. 🤣 But I absolutely loved spending time watching your reactions, your an amazing person, and I'm gonna miss your singing. Lmao

2021-01-10 07:40:13 +0000 UTCi LOVED this episode! it serves classic veronica mars season finale drama. a few people were upset about the ending but this is what veronica mars has always been. her life being somewhat "normal" then it being ripped from her. however, i did find logan's death very anti-climactic, i hated him, always have and always will, so i wasn't too bothered about his death, but i'd rather it be him than having to deal with the death of keith or anyone else who i actually love! rob thomas and kristen bell have expressed interest in filming a season 5 of veronica mars, but by time the pre-production would have eventually came around, COVID hit and there hasn't been any news on it lately. i think we will get one, but it might be a while until we see it - but sign me up! overall i really loved the season. it was so different from the original series of veronica mars but still kept that stunning quality of humour, drama and mystery. i can't believe you've finally finished veronica mars, i've loved watching along with you through all the ups and downs of this series :) it's been amazing so thank you for that! i look forward to seeing more reactions from you! <3
