That "WHAT AM I SUPPOSE TO DO" line gets me every time. There are SO many good ones, but that performance is one of my all-time favorite Jensen performances. He did such an incredible job. Fun fact, Jared was trying to hold his breath in that scene, obviously because he was dead. So Jensen purposefully tried to drag out the scene as long as possible because he thought it would be funny😂. Also the Bobby and Dean scene was also one of my all-time favs too, and we really get to see here how much Sam and Dean actually mean to Bobby. So as for season 3, it's going to be a shorter season due to the writers strike that was happening at the time (2007-2008). So it's going to be 16 episodes instead of the usual 21-22. It gets mixed reviews, but I'm a huge fan of season 3. Its like my 3rd favorite season out of 15. So I hope you like it. Anyway glad you enjoyed the finale. See ya next time... Oh p.s you should also do the bloopers for season 2. I know it seems like a lot, but it goes into the experience of the show. Supernatural is the only show I've seen that purposefully makes their bloopers long, and genuinely seems like they like each other 😂🤷🏾♀️.

Season 2 is one of my favorite seasons, even though it has mostly MOTW episodes. There's a lot of character development this season, and I'm all for that. We also learn a lot about the world they live in and things they hunt.

2021-02-15 11:45:48 +0000 UTCThis two-parter is definitely the kind of episode that contains some of my favorite moments, but the episode as a whole is just average. While Jensen is consistently a good actor, he really shines in the emotional stuff, of which there was plenty here, and it's great to watch. I remember in one of the commentaries (or maybe a convention panel), Jared noted that he did everything he could to appear fully dead in order to get the most genuine reaction out of Jensen since the two are so close IRL. I think it's safe to say that paid off. Bobby's line about Dean having a low opinion of himself is also such a poignant one. Because Dean DOES. His dad did a number on him and he feels Sam is his only purpose, that he has none of his own. Dean has a lot to offer and quite a big heart, yet he feels himself worthless on his own. It's really sad, but also really fascinating. Also, IDK if you saw, but season 3 only has 16 episodes, which is because there was a writer's strike that year so they couldn't do the usual 22. They make it work for the most part, though if you notice some pacing issues here and there, that's why.
