2021-07-17 23:33:33 +0000 UTCThe one falls into my personal group of episodes that I just have never grown to like, even after a number of rewatches. At this stage of NuWho it's a small list, with company like Fear Her and The Lazarus Experiment. That's not to say all the others are equally awesome they obviously differ considerably. Basically those are my bottom three, at this stage. This one probably is last place. I almost didn't bother to watch, but curiosity got the better of me. I do feel it could have had the potential story wise, to be nearly as good as the Midnight episode. As it is, they couldn't be further apart by means of narrative execution.

I'll always give credit to DW for trying something different, and tbe idea of doing a "found footage/point of view" episode is certainly interesting, but it does feel somewhat messy and incomplete. But perhaps that's the point. I don't hate this story, and there are some good concepts, but I'm not exactly enamoured with it, either, and can happily skip it. Your theories and commentary, though, are a.ways worth Watching. 😀👍

2021-07-15 12:05:55 +0000 UTCThis episode sucks so much 😂😂... im not even going to try to defend it. Cool idea.. its just poorly executed. Apparently the reason the sandmen came up with this 'story' was to keep everyone watching the footage engaged while the singal was transmitted to their heads.. i liked your theory better though.. it made more sense 😅 it was the first episode shot entirely from the 'pov' of a character... We never saw a pov from the Doctor because he wasnt infected by the sandmen, so thats a cool detail... i guess? i just hate this episode... congrats for not switching it off halfway through 🤣
