Brenner (papa) was attacked by the demogorgon in season one (u can see he has a scar on his face) but we never saw him dead and in season 2 we got introduced to 8, in that episode 11 and 8 went after a man who worked for Brenner and he told them he was still alive, but he was hiding. I guess that for a year he was working on bringing back El's power, it seems he made it partially for now, cause eleven still not having control over her powers rn. Oh, and the guy that woman moved away from his house, was Eddie's uncle, not Chrissy's dad, Eddie lives with him, and the basketball guys was wearing suits cause they were at Chrissy's funeral. Ok i think I explained pretty much everything ahahah. Excited for the next episodes btw 😊
