Thanks for giving this one a go! It's definitely a different format to the other Star Wars shows; it takes its time, as 90% of the scenes here are characters talking... and a ton of characters at that. In many ways, this show feels like a constant story that we get a split part of per episode, rather than individual stories each time-- which isn't necessarily bad at all, but it keeps you hanging! Yeah, the lack of subtitles is deliberate as we just have to assume a lot from their acting; there are indeed no adults in the group, the oldest is that girl who young Cassian gets permission from to wear the makeup, so we can presume she's the leader The start sets the tone of this show, so if you enjoyed that very un-Disney kill I think you'll enjoy the rest of this series. I don't wanna oversell it as 'oooh, it's so dark and mature!' but this is a far more 'real' take on Star Wars. Lots of politics, lots of violence, lots of commentary on the ethics of the empire through and through. If you're into that gritty angle of the Rebellion, I think there's a lot to chew on in the story I'd say to give the next one or two episodes a go if you're feeling intrigued; without any spoilers, this show presents itself in little 'arcs', so every three-odd episodes form a fuller story-- hence the abrupt ending here. Personally my favourite episodes are further into the show (it's 12 episodes long-- big contrast to the short limited series on Disney). But see how you feel...! Great reaction as ever-- and yeah, his name's Cassian 'Andor', to clarify that confusion
