Definitely agree - this show for sure is subtle, drawn out, and bleak! And most of the characters are mild to significantly unlikable 😂 I do very much root for Jesse though and agree that the loyalty he and Walt have for each other in their partnership really stands out as something lovely in all the dreariness! And Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul's performances individually and chemistry together really are special to watch. I think it's just a really well conceived and executed story. Will be curious to hear your thoughts at the end.

2022-09-25 21:02:39 +0000 UTCI was relatively 'late to the party' with this show because I was going through some pretty bleak stuff in my own life, and I didn't feel like watching a show that was apparently about a terminally ill high school teacher! In the end, I did enjoy it. Mainly for the subtlety, the style, the attention to detail, and the performances!
