The next episode is so freacking perfect, I'll just drop a curiosity: the title is nobody is ever missing which comes from a poem called dream song 29; the finales of season 2 and 3 are also named aftee phrases that appear in that poem. I recommend you reading it after seeing the episode, having in mind that " Henry" in the poem is Kendall.

In some moments of this season ( the dog cage for example, when he like being humiliated) and the joke he makes about being abused- they say stuff that you can kind of take a hint that he suffered sexual abuse in his childhood
