Couldn’t agree more! I love the way they’re depicting this a lot because like you said, toxicity in relationships is depicted on tv so often but in a way where they try to gaslight the audience into rooting for the pair or they downright romanticise the issue. That’s not so much the case here, like it’s made very clear how ugly those dynamics are and yet you understand why for instance it’s hard for Louis to leave, not because that’s what love’s supposed to be like or whatever but because that’s what happens in real life. People stay in abusive relationships all the time..
