Your deadpan "No" when Tao said "I deserve to be appreciated" made me laugh. The author is ace, so I wonder how much the unrealistic way they treat sex in the comics and show, with all the characters really, has to do with that. But that might be presumptuous ... Excited for season two!

2023-10-01 14:30:31 +0000 UTCI‘ve got thoughts on the way sex is portrayed in the show as well, but don’t wanna write an essay. it's crazy how they dodged the topic entirely this season lmao… that being said, it’s a great show for queer kids and for that same reason love the authentic casting. celebs are role models for kids, that’s just how it is, and having that representation for pretty much everyone in the community is great. Isaac being a running gag in these reactions is funny ngl.. next season he gets a little more spotlight. tobie, the actor is very likeable btw. him, kit and joe (who play nick and charlie) are close friends. I’m mentioning this because it’s funny to see their irl dynamics compared to the innocent vibe of the show.. for example last week at Joe’s birthday, he joked about kit and tobie inviting him over to be their third for the night, stuff like that. anyway, I definitely enjoyed season 2 a lot more than this one because all the characters evolve and the acting improved imo. It’s maturing, but slowly. they’re following the comics, so season 3 (and 4 if they get renewed for 4) will really be the most mature. and yes, tori‘s the best.. their parents are mid at best (especially the mum)
