Mmm things are more heightened for kids nowadays with social media and kids not being able to handle things emotionally the way previous generations might have. So that on top of the fact that these kids live in a supernatural world I can see a kid believing there’s no hope for them.

Maybe the writers really like it and reuse it, but it's a bit jarring when these kids are saying it. I know what they are trying to portray, but broken suggests it's over and they can never be helped. It's a bit much for 15 year old kids who have just started their life to believe.
