As a Peyton fan, I don't like this storyline because the situation was getting better between Brooke and Peyton. There was no need for more drama with these two. Actually, the writers did the exact same thing with the Brooke/Chris stuff right before Brucas got back together... But this time, it is about Peyton and Brooke, so people get all butthurt about it.

2024-10-28 23:12:30 +0000 UTCJust finally got around to watching this reaction and thank god you were able to sniff out the bs the writers tried to do here. I remember after S3 finished Peyton was getting torn to shreds by the fandom on all forums at the time. The majority was team Brooke and this definitely them trying to manipulate things and make it to where team Brucas/Brooke people didn’t have a leg to stand on. Didn’t work though.
