Whew! I needed a little time before I could watch this because...my emotions!! I've seen this episode now SEVERAL times and it just continues to wreck me. But my god, it's so good. I love that the votes here are unanimously "masterpiece" because I feel it truly is. They gave us such a satisfying ending to a show that is just so well made all around. Acting, writing, cinematography, music, it's just all top notch. I agree with a lot of what you said at the end - I WISH WE HAD MORE!! Story-wise it's ended so perfectly so I don't know if more seasons would be right (head writer Lisa has said she's always imagined the story in 3 parts), but apparently at one point there were supposed to be 10 episodes per season and Netflix made them cut it to 6. I would've LOVED more episodes per season, just to see even more of these characters but especially our 2 boys. I also could go for like an "epilogue" where we get to see the 4 of them off on a summer road trip. 🚙🧡 I also agree with you about YR over Heartstopper. I watched Heartstopper first and LOVED it - and still think it's a great show. But then I found YR and it was a game changer for me! I think the authenticity in it is so compelling, especially given that it takes place in a fictional high class Swedish boarding school and deals with royals...you wouldn't think that'd be the most relatable of stories! That and the chemistry between Edvin and Omar which I don't think I'll ever get over. I was so moved by this series. Thank you for reacting to it!! So glad you did the documentary as well! I may also need to prepare myself before I can watch that because again, my emotions!!
