C96 report!

Comic Market 96 ended successfully on August 12!

The venue was very crowded with people on that day.

On the 12th, there were 200,000 people, and the total for the four days reached 730,000.

On the day, while setting up a sales booth, there was a happening that the desk was broken by the weight of the book.
I was very surprised because it was the first time I had participated in Comiket for many years.
The cause seems to be that the desk tree was aged.

There were three new publications: “Harucos 9”, “FGO Book”, and “Harucos Omnibus 2”.
As a result ... the FGO book was sold out, but Harucos was pretty much left over.
From the next time on, Haruhi's books may have to be reduced to the venue.
Hmm... X(

I feel like I'm still in my dream after the hottest day of the year.
Thank you very much for coming to my booth! :)

I'll post "Harucos 9" as $10 reward of August later.

Thank you for your supports!!

I have that book too. It was a very good book! That artist has a very good style, so I want to study his technique. However, I do not know if drawing various anime characters in one book will be the solution.

That is a very difficult question. Probably many factors are intricately intertwined. For example, it is difficult to participate from the middle due to my series becoming longer.

Also I thought of maybe doing something like book entitled : あの時私が描きたかった女の子達1. It's a mix of illustrations with older cult anime (including Haruhi ofc, Toradora, Code Geass etc.), but it also covers other classics which you draw as well on Patreon. Take a look, maybe it's a solution sort of for your problem.

Any ideas why Haruhi book sold so poorly ? People jumping from one hyped series to another like Azur Lane was popular and now F/GO ? Also, ever thought to sell printed copies abroad ? I mean there are more wealthy people who can afford expensive shipping.

Thank you so much! I'll try my best for your supports!

I'm very happy reading you will continue drawing Haruhi doujin despite the poor selling. On my own I will continue buying all your beautiful doujins about her and also paying the 10$ tier on patreon. Thank you for your beautiful drawings!

>But that way I'll by able to include one in my order to ship it to Germany^^ That's great! Thank you Nazgul!!

I hope you still had a great weekend even with all the suprises that have happened. I also hope that you are sattisfied with your sales even if Haruhi didn't go as well (which I honestly can't understand). But that way I'll by able to include one in my order to ship it to Germany^^

Perhaps one of the reasons why Haruhi's doujin has become unsold is that I have published digital versions on Patreon and Fantia (sites like Patreon in Japan). But it can also be considered positive. By publishing it digitally, people overseas can easily see my doujin.

Congratulations on a successful Comiket! It's sad to hear that Harucos didn't sell well, but you still have fans out there. I will definitely pick up a paper copy as soon as you post it to BOOTH along with the other books.

Thank you! As long as one book can be sold, no, even if one book doesn't sell, I will not stop making Haruhi doujin.

Disappointing to hear haruhi still had copies left over... I'm glad to hear it was a success though! Congratulations!
