The holiday they were celebrating was guy Fawkes night/firework night (5th November). Yeah like you said this movie was popular in the uk as it was very real the way the kids were acting/talking + the setting of the movie. A lot of brits can relate to it more. Think the way the kids were the whole movie was like we were following a real group of kids from a council estate, there acting was great. Very natural. Thankyou for reacting to this, god u enjoyed it☺️
