Martial arts and self defense is different from wrestling imo. With the right training a woman of any size could defeat a man bigger than her with certain martial arts moves and using her surroundings, but wrestling seems like it relies heavily on body strength and all the guys on that wrestling team are way bigger than Emma. There’s just no way she’d stand a chance unless she went up against a guy Jude’s size. Did your friend win often against boys? Also there not being a girl’s wrestling team isn’t enough of a reason to put a girl on the boys team imo. It’s just irresponsible. If there was a boy who wanted to play lacrosse but there was only a girl’s team I wouldn’t just put that boy on the team. His size and strength could hurt someone on the other team.

2024-11-22 07:59:48 +0000 UTCi dont like emma bc she gives off pick me, im not like other girls energy. like "i dont hang w other girls bc theyre caddy and ridiculous unlike me who's above them". its internalized misogyny and im not a fan at all. however, you do know that the reason she's on the team is bc there is no girls wrestling team. so thats the only one to join. my friend was a girl and she wrestled on the team w boys bc "girls wrestling" doesn't exist. and it isnt only about strength (although women can be strong and workout too). its like how a lot of women do jui jitsu for self defense bc its good for defensive moves and you can do a lot, even with a smaller stature.

It's crazy what they're doing but fine, however to choose someone they know - Stef had a fair point and honestly I agree with Stef on who the donor should be. Brandon is making dumb decisions smh.
