A princess who was just days away from marrying her betrothed is out in the city that surrounded her castle. There encountering a gypsy woman who gifts her a necklace and encourages her to visit the faire her people were holding on the outskirts of the city. Having no idea those people were actually group of wererats. The princess takes the necklace to be nice but after doing so felt compelled to visit the faire. Once there there among the faire she begins to change into a wererat along with the people running the faire. Soon disappearing with them and joining their group. Traveling with them to the next city to recruit another man or woman.

2023-03-05 04:51:08 +0000 UTCNew idea: a noblewoman in a medieval fantasy setting who feels both lonely and restricted by her role makes an errant comment in some monster-haunted woods that she wishes she could be the ranger-adventurer, doing whatever she wants and having the agility and hunting prowress to go anywhere or do anything while retaining the one thing she likes about her life, her friendship with a few staff members. A passing were-ferret (or -polecat, given this is the wild) decides to grant her her wish, nipping her finger - of course, given how she is turning into a ferret, she also becomes a bit frisky with said staff during her transformation. Ironically her new instincts like how many dark areas there are in her home.
