Debunking Zoomer Historian

The year is 2024 and people are still playing defense for the losers of the Second World War. I’m talking about Zoomer Historian, a relatively new “history” channel of about 60k subscribers which is completely devoted to defending Germany in the Second World War. Now, he doesn’t directly defend the worst acts committed by Germany. Instead, he either ignores them, downplays them, or exaggerates bad things someone else did instead. Well, at least publicly.

Now, to any fans of Zoomer Historian: He is incorrect. I’ll show you how. I’m not a communist. I don’t hate you. I don’t hate Germany. What I don’t like is dishonesty.

But what are my qualifications? I’m not just a random person. I have a master’s in history. But don’t trust me, trust my sources, which I will cite and link below. You can read them. If you are an honest person, you must be willing to have your beliefs questioned—I watched this guy’s entire YouTube channel for this video. If you are an honest person, you must be willing to change your beliefs if new evidence comes to light. And if you don’t agree with Zoomer Historian, good for you, but still watch this video—more people than just me need to push back against his deception.

Zoomer Historian says he is “NON-POLITICAL.” He cites… books [David Irving loses court case]. So I’m not going to be petty. I’m going to treat these videos as actual essays and debunk them using actual historical sources, including primary documents, some of which were created by the leaders of Germany themselves—because Germany documented the acts of mass murder it committed. The bloodshed wasn’t peripheral—it was central.
