*April Update*

Hey Gearheads!

We've got some great news this month!  March has been a huge test bed and gotten us that much closer to incorporating some really cool features into our releases.  So without further adieu, let's dive right in.

The most immediately noticeable and universal improvement is the New Camera Controls.  Your fellow patron NadderHed reached out with some ideas for improving the camera.  Now it has a different system for panning than tilt, making it more of a "rail-like" system.  This means it's much easier to control and will keep things like the camera going upside down from happening.
We've also added a VR detection system that disables up/down movement for VR only, since your neck handles that.

March was especially significant for the RWBY Trainer and by proxy the Space Station.  We've reintegrated the mini game with Weiss and the tentacle and it's working just as before. 

We've gotten connected with a new animator which will bring us new and more complex mini game options and are currently testing out the conversion of his scenes.

CONTROLLERS ARE BACK!

This is a huge win for us!  We've been working on this for a while and decided to go about it the longer way rather than wait on the toolkit we used before to be updated.  So now the Weiss mini game can be controlled with the keyboard and/or controller.

Speaking of the Toolkit, it just got updated a couple days ago after a delay of nearly a month.  That means we can finally start testing it for better locomotion in the Space Station. i.e. teleporting instead of flying 

Hopefully you guys are liking the new VR quickies.  I enjoy making them and they help with the overall pacing to spend more time working on the bigger projects.  If you guys like them and would like to see certain characters for those or prefer the game engine format to the video ones, be sure to let me know here or on discord.

With all the craziness around adult content on patreon, the tumblr purge and the passing of article 13, things are looking sketchy for the lewd biz in general.  To prepare against anything that might happen suddenly, we're still working on becoming less patreon dependent.

If we suddenly disappear the two main ways to check on things will be on discord and our website vranimeted.com.  Hopefully the name is easy enough to remember lol, but feel free to bookmark it if you need to.

We're slowly getting things ready there with a better organized format for our release archive, patreon access pages and special content.  We're also looking into alternate support options like subscribstar, paypal subscriptions, etc.  we'll likely be running polls as well to see what alternative you guys would prefer.

We've been really looking into better ways to engage with you guys and create more immersive and higher quality content.  We'll keep the polls coming to make feedback easy for you guys and continue to stay engaged with comments here and on discord.

We have seen a dip recently in support so we'll be looking into ways to give a little something extra for Tier2+ as that's the main level keeping us afloat.  If you've been on the fence about upgrading, now is a great time to do so as there will be a lot coming out in April that you'll want to catch.
