Hey Gearheads! Lots to cover this month.
First and foremost, we've been taking a hit in support level for the last few months and things have been sort of crazy, hints the late update. Due to the dip in consistent support over the last couple of months we finally had to let our programmer move on to other projects. He's built the majority of the systems running in every release so it's sad that it came to this, but we hope to get the support back up to the point that we can bring him back.
Because of this our progress on the AI and interactive side of things will slow down, but we'll put our focus on the animation and story side for now.
It would be great to be able to do both, so we'll be opening up a significant number of early bird slots so if you were on the fence about moving up to the tiered levels, then this is a great opportunity to do so. Since we're right on that edge of being able to do some really cool stuff and having to back things off, hopefully we won't get people jumping from the higher level to early bird. Tier 2+ is really what keeps VRA alive and we appreciate all the support, but especially the support at that level, since it allows us to continue pushing forward and with weekly content releases.
We haven't missed a release week in over a year and in our 3 years, we've missed maybe 2 or 3 weeks total. No rest for the weary lol. So if you like what we do and want to see things continue to improve, then hopping onto a tiered level is the best way to do that.
If we can recover to where we were last year, then we can get new animations made (like the recent Starfire and Raven one), increase the number of sex positions, get some dialogue done by the voice actresses we've worked with, flush out our background with cool but useful props like an hot tub full of girls, go-go dancing booths, pole dancing, VIP rooms, etc.

All right, now on to the fun stuff!
In an effort to promote more patron retention we'll be including monthly release schedule in with monthly updates starting in September and peppering in more bonus content and WIPs. We still have the Skuddbutt scene conversion in the works as well as a FAP Hero VR crossover. These are being done little by little as to not conflict with the main ongoing projects.

We've got a few date nights in the works for folks at that tier. We're truly grateful for you hardcore folks and look forward to getting those date nights out to you. We'll also be doing a POV general release every month. The new workflow is getting more and more solid. We've done our first full conversion of a Maya character our first Oculus Quest/Go POV experience and we're working on an SFM character conversion right now. SFM conversions look like they'll take time to get right, but that just provides more WIP and creator guide content. I'm even considering streaming the conversions, so if your interested, let me know. Once the SFM conversion process is nailed down, that'll bring in more of the higher quality video game characters.

Now it's more than just the mini game. We have a key location as a starting point with plans on shifting it to a proper brothel. We've also throw in the background characters including 2 pole dancers and a bit of a narrative leading up to some entertainment options before the private show. We've moved to Unity 2019 and are prepping the second location which will contain the mini games. We've also testing the controller interaction like teleporting and new animations for the mini games. The trainer started with 2 characters and now it's up to nearly a dozen.

While a improvements to the space station have mostly been int he way of the conversion to Unity 2019 and the shift to the new graphics shader we've also been doing a ton of research into AI. Instead of just having the characters dancing in place, we want to have them moving about the space station to make it feel like a real active area (think GTA/Hitman). While working on this, we'll still be rolling out new releases with additional performances and background characters.

We've been researching Patreon's API and other creators methods for Patreon linked login. Our goal here is to allow you access to our content without the need to come to patreon. That way we have full control over the content provided and can restart our raffles, which patreon made us stop. It'll also give us control over search and filter to make it easier for you to find older releases.
If you have any insight into getting this going, please reach out. We could definitely use a hand here.
All in all I'm pretty optimistic about the future of VRA and hope you are too. I don't want to make something that's just good enough to get by, I want to keep pushing until we have something truly amazing and with your help I'm sure we can get there.
Thank you all for helping us get this far and thank you for your continued support, encouragement and feedback!
