Here's an excerpt from the first story of the game, as well as the intro page and scene file names ❣️

Chapter 1 Excerpt:

The scents of a place determine its character.

I am the thoughts between them.

A bright desert morning blooms around me. I learn the season when a bee darts past me towards a pair of five-petaled flowers. It hovers by the white, but the pink smells sweeter. I feel the moment it decides between them, and I remember that scent comes only in spring.

The world shifts, and another year begins.

A girl - human, soft, rounded face and bright eyes - steps across the barrier of the canyon. Wind rises to meet her, kicks up the scent of packed and sandy earth. She inhales, and I am there.

She considers her choice. Understands she is beyond the safety of her home, and going farther. Sees the world stretched out before her. I perch unseen atop her shoulders and look along with her.

She smiles, steps forward, and I'm gone.
