The beta demo of Leas: City of the Sun will release in August (exact date TDB). It will include the entire game! So 2 chapters instead of 1 this update, plus a bunch of bug fixes, edits, and additions.
Like all betas, it may change slightly based on feedback from testers, but the final version will be extremely similar to the beta. It's basically my "this is how I envision the game, now let me see if people want changes" version xD
I said earlier in July that there might or might not be a second demo this month. There won't be one for Leas, because as I'm editing the files it's gotten too complicated to figure out which ones can be added to a halfway-to-beta update (I'd rather release it all at once than delay the beta by a week preparing something that'll be updated two weeks later).
BUT! Halloween is right around the corner, and I have done a tiny bit of work on Flashpoint. So on July 31st, I'll be releasing a mini-demo of what I have so far + whatever I write that day. I'm going to be doing a fun little challenge for myself to write as much as possible from the second the theme announcement drops. You can expect it to be 3k words, with 5-10 choices. Smaller than my regular demos but hey, I'll be writing about 90% of it in a day π
TLDR:
Full Beta of Leas releases in August (exact date TBD) and will include the entire game (aside from any changes that come as a result of beta testing, of course).
Mini-demo of Flashpoint coming July 31st. It'll be the very beginning of the game and about 3k words, 5-10 choices.
