Extended Writing Update

Whew, it’s been a crazy week but I still managed to write, so I’m counting it a win! Sidenote: the rain here is coming down so hard it’s banging against the windows like somebody trying to knock - and all I can think about is how bad I want to take us north in the world of Leas to see the area where The Visitor and the Magician took place, a thousand years later.

Fae minigame stuff aside, I’ve been working on some edits of chapter one and building out the first half of chapter two this week. There’s still a lot of places where chapter one feels a little unpolished to me and it’ll probably take me a few more rounds to iron that out. But thankfully, I’m happy with the actually/content so it shouldn’t be too terrible of a process.

Also, Keo is misbehaving. I’m very annoyed that they’re doing that thing of seeing no reason to speak and then I wind up with a scene where they don’t talk at all 😭 The other characters are all acting how I need them to, so at least only one of my children is misbehaving at a time 😂
