My dear, wonderful, maddening [sister/brother/sibling],

Don't even start with me - I can feel you rolling your eyes all the way from Nosret, but you've earned 'maddening' ten times over as far as I'm concerned. Leave it to you to get wrapped up in something called death magic.

You sound like you're doing well. I can't imagine how, but then, you always liked a little chaos. I never thought I'd say it, but I hope you stay in Leas longer. You wrote so fondly of your teammates there... maybe you've finally found your people. Any chance you can invent some fancy spell to move them all to Nosret? There's an open house we could set them up in right next door. They could move in, meet the neighbors, have dinner every night with us... I know, I know. You're cringing. But would it be so bad to be a family again?

Mom misses you. She'll never admit it, but I know. She opened all the windows on your birthday. I'm not saying you need to make up with her - she was out of line with what she said when you left. But I thought you might like to know she's not as tough as she always acts with you.

Please try to stay safe out there. If you die I'll kill you.
