Wanted to keep the cartoony style a bit, so i went for smoother lines and simple shapes, also less small details to make the ones that are in more important, as a friend once said, sometimes less is more. I like the show contrast between a detailed background and simple character design so that was an inspiration for this one.
At first i was going to put her on top of the Mystery Shack counter but its done a lot and while i was doing the dishes i had a better idea and this came out. Also had a test pose with her looking over the shoulder but it looked so weird so i scrapped it.
Also spent a long time deciding between 4 fingers, like the show, or 5 fingers.
Gonna play with lightning on this one, thinking about making the window the main source light or a lamp on the side, see which one looks better.
