Clubb Arvlit - Dance, Shrink, Drinkywink...
Added 2019-10-01 22:04:26 +0000 UTCSo I uploaded this new world in the portal hub a few days ago. Didn't mention it on here because I kept going in and making changes/adjustments/additions. Gonna seal the lid on this one for now. The drinks have triggers that will start a looooong sloooow shrinking process. Eventually, you'll just be a little bitty speck, in a massive club and lobby filled to the brim with touhou/arvlit characters. Lots of super-generic low-poly little drunk dudes wandering around too, who, soon enough, you'll be on their level.. just keep drinking.. (actually, the drinks are toggles, so if everything is moving everrrr-so-slightly, then you know you're shrinking. It is subtle but somehow obvious. Best to toggle the shrinking off at a scale you prefer and romp around before enabling it again.
This world can be found in the portal-hub. I'll update the hub with a new link when I upload a new world, which will be soon.

Hi Ripley, you have to download VRChat from Steam, create an account (which is free), log in, and simply click the link in the post with the most recent portal hub (a few posts up from this one called "November Portal-Hub Link"). When you click the link, a little pop-up will come up that says "Open Launch". Click that, and it will take you to my portal-hub, from which you can access all my worlds. Thanks for joining!

In most worlds that have shrinking, I'm able to put a flat invisible plane slightly above the floor so that you don't move when the world grows around you. Unfortunately, for this one, since there's multiple levels (including the floors, bars, platforms, steps and such), they all naturally move as they grow (which appears to the viewer like you're shrinking.) So when there's several levels, there's not really way to make the ground stationary under the player unless I add a small platform under you while shrinking (at the specific spot where the trigger is) which the player would have to stand on, which would work but only if the shrinking was very quick, since the world is changing position as it grows around you. Since this world is a custom, it was requested for the shrinking to be very slow.
