The P4yP4l Situation, SubscribeStar(?), and the future of Pixiv Fanbox

TL;WR: P4yP4l services will no longer be used for my business due to a new policy that will be in effect starting on September, and because Fanbox requires Japanese Banks for payouts as alternatives, I'll possibly be moving to https://subscribestar.adult/nioartist once screening is approved. All exclusive artworks and projects from all the tiers from January 2022 till now will be combined into one public zip folder available for everyone without the need for subscribing to any of the tiers on Fanbox as compensation for making the switch in platforms.

I want to start off by saying thank you to all who have actively supported my artworks within the first half of the year. Ever since I've started my new job at the hospital, things might have been slow for a time. However, there will still be more artworks soon to come, so please look forward to them for the time being.

Now... some of you might not be aware of this, but due to a new policy update for P4yP4l users, there has been a huge influx of NSFW creatives denouncing the use of P4yP4l services for business reasons. Simply put, P4yP4l will be even more unfriendly to NSFW artists such as myself to the point where either connecting your NSFW accounts or mentioning their name anywhere online will trigger their automated bots to send them information on your business starting sometime on September (hence why I've began censoring the name with l33t text in this blog). Apparently, this was mainly in part by reducing the risk of business scams, but the policy ended up becoming a double-edged sword so to speak.

Now... the reason I bring this p4yp4l debaucle up on Fanbox of all places is that, while I COULD switch my payouts from p4yp4l to a bank, Fanbox unfortunately requires a Japanese bank for payment to be sent. Since my content is 18+ in nature and my bank is based in the United States, I must regret to inform my fanbox followers that I will be discontinuing posts here. I will say right now that it has been a great few months experimenting with the website's features and content uploads, and now that I've found my footing, I will TRY to take exclusive projects and posts to subscribestar instead. The tiers and prices will remain the same over there, except I will post a public zip containing all of the previous tier rewards that I've had so far this year here on fanbox before the end of the month. That way, supporters can take the time to make the switch for new content on subscribestar and cancel their subscriptions here.

As far as art commissions go, I will be sending commission invoices to emails through the accounting application "FreshBooks", as it fully supports freelance businesses and has no known discrimination against NSFW businesses as far as I know. It's not free, but it doesn't require much in the long-run on my end. Clients are still able to request commissions from me in the exact same way as how they've done in the past; the only difference is that I'll be sending invoices through email with Freshbook's service rather than p4yp4l. Other than that, there is nothing required in your part as the client to change anything in regards to commissioning me.

Thank you all again so much, and I apologize for the inconvinience on behalf of us creatives dealing with the discrimination of NSFW content creators and Sex Workers alike. We are one voice, and we will never be silenced.
