Discontinuing my Fanbox page

I think it's no surprise at this rate that I've made this final decision.

For those who aren't aware, the platform will no longer allow accounts that provide artworks deemed "offensive, unethical, or promote criminal activity" as credit card companies are threatening to pull the plug on the site. While it has been confirmed that this act was to circumvent artworks that were straight up real material that posed an unlawful threat to Fanbox/BOOTH's use of card networks (I.E. the promotion of sexual exploitation of irl minors, incest, bestiality etc.), this also means that those who upload content that do not fall under these categories will still be affected due to the new TOS change since, in a way, it's still in legally gray area for fictional drawings.

In a way, Fanbox and BOOTH are slowly becoming the next Patreon.

I will therefore reimburse followers by releasing a public upload of the Iono drawing I did last week as compensation on my main Pixiv account. From this point forward, exclusive content will be posted on my Gumroad page as this is my final area of passive income while I continue with my full-time hospital job.

I've also withdrawn from trying to push for Subscribestar since accounts will need to be approved, and since approvals move at a snail pace, I will have to force my hand by dropping this idea entirely and stick with Gumroad packages. I understand that there are alternatives, but at this rate: I'm just

tired.

I've become a very tired artist lately, and it's showing in my lack of uploads.

This year has been a year of change for a lot of things, but this was one of those changes that I certainly did not wish to see unfold, but here we are.

As a certain space cowboy once said:

"Whatever happens, happens."

~~*UPDATE*~~

All files will now be on my main pixiv page here (check bio for uncensored links)

Jeez between this issue and the AI art issue, the war in Ukraine, coof... This has to have been an incredibly difficult past few years. I hope you find greater, longer lived success over on gumroad. We'll always accept ya over on baraag.net, sadly there's no way to generate income there yet. Good health, mate.
