Tower project : Ancilla wip + lore

So here is a first concept of robe for  Ancilla in the "Tower" project we do with Scorp those days. Was a bit busy today and took me several try and research so not so much been made, but i'm not in hurry and ll finish my reqearch next week, so the costume might change.
Again i'll certainly open a vote for the color, even if red ll be a major part in it. Why? well let's put some lore in it! (sorry for the many mistake and fault, it's late when i writte this)

in this world, mages put a lot of attention in  details like representation and symbols.
so the robe of  a mage, if the cut and marking come to show the origin and ethnicity, have different colors depending of the rank of the mage in the orders. There is indeed difference between countries, but most follow the following pattern:

White is for the Archmage. It's a melt of all colours, and are above all others, the Archmage must guide and shine over the other mages as a white protective light.

Black is what come between the stars and the sky, it is the colour of celestial event, what remain when the light is out. It's the colour of the Circle masters. The sort of cardinal to the mages orders. Each got the control of a region, a country, and refer only to the Archmage

Blue is the sky color, it is above allthe mortal, as is the Tower master, in charge of a mage tower, of a school, or any other local comunity. Being in charge don't mean he got to manage, no, he often take a second in command that ll do most of the job. but at this rank they don't have to refer to anyone about their personal research, so this is a highly coveted rank

Green is the color of nature, it is one of the most comon one to see among the mages. It's the color you take when you finish your exams and take your life in hand.

Brown is particular, it's not a rank one, more a situational. It's the most comon color among adventurers mage. This is simply practical, as a travelling mage ll often end covered in dirt, and cleaning it over and over, even with magic, can be quite anoying. So mages take a brown cape and wear it over their robes. Brown is the color of wandering mages.

Red is the color of apprentice. It's colorfull, you can spot it from afar. Some say it's because it's the color of the lava, the earth blood. Other it's the symbolic of fire, that is the root of civilisation... Other that when an experiment turn wrong it's less a mess to clean the blood on it... Anyway, young apprentice wear red robes.

Other colors exist indeed, but they're or a regional use, or a mark of a faction etc etc. Also there is the esthetic, often people wear other tone and colors, it's no big deal as long as the majority of your robe color suit your rank.
