Well well well, doesn't this look familiar? That's right busta, welcome back to Indie Hell, population: Who? I told ya I'd be retreading old ground and I have brought something back that you probably never heard of nor care to. Without further ado, this gal hails from Lieat, a JRPG, if you could even call it that. Her name i- wait, hold on, oh, woops, wrong dragon. Ah well, she's still an obscure character from a little known franchise called Fire Emblem.

Okay to be fair, it was rather obscure nearly a decade ago. 

Nah but seriously, initially this was going to be a simple edit. It seemed like most of her outfits were done and the overlays were all there, all she needed was a hair cut and a face lift. Easier said than done as they say, but instead of realizing "Oh hey this is going to take a lot more time than I had thought. Maybe I should put this off to finish what I was working on first and then go back to this." I kept on thinking "Okay this requires a little more work than I had initially thought, but no big deal. Just gotta adjust this part here and oh hey I'm two weeks in and I haven't even updated. Drat." 

So, what's new Scooby-Doo? Well, aside from the hair and face, I've also updated her outfit. While the main outfit of her Awakening design was mostly done (Thanks to the guy on 4chan who's responsible for pretty much any overlay you see and will see on any Fire Emblem character I made. I would link to their MEGA but I think it got nuked. I don't know, I couldn't find their old post linking to it even after combing through the thread archive. I know ye you see my work so send me a DM so that I can credit ye properly.) I touched it up a bit. Her Young!Tiki outfit was left mostly unchanged, other than updating some parts, taking advantage of the new mods n' plugins to refine 'em better. 

Her gym outfit isn't worth writing home about and only deserves a footnote on an internet post. From here, this is where things start changing drastically. For starters, she now has swimsuits based on her adult and young designs. Her shoes were made using overlays as I couldn't find one that was exactly like her's. For her casual outfit, I was going for her Fallen/Evil Alt. design, although you could see it as Legendary outfit. (Not that there's much difference between the two. Both of them have her wearing robes except one's goth and the other's a Ditto.) The "base" of that outfit uses her gym uniform, then I threw a shitton of capes and hoods to cobble together an overly sized robe. 

Oh right, her tiara thing or whatever it is on her head has also been changed. The design will change accordingly to her outfit. (So outfits based on her young version will share the same design, except for the evil one as that one is drastically different for some reason.) 

The most dramatic overhaul has to be her sleeping over outfit. So, I like to do this thing where if a character doesn't have a whole lot of alts or only had one outfit to begin with, I'd gave them outfits based on their fellow cast members. Usually they're based on whoever they have some connection with in some fashion e.g: Lilina has outfits based on the other girls who Roy could possibly romance with. Tiki doesn't have a whole lot of supports in Awakening and I wasn't about to do Lucina's outfit again as that's bit of a cop out. Sure it's a lot more relevant compared to Palutena wearing it, but I figured that was kind of a cheap way to fill out a slot. Not to mention her outfit breaks horribly trying to handle Tiki's tikis. 

So I figured, "Oh hey Razor made this Nowi overlay, why not just use that? All I gotta do is just adjust a few numbers here n' there, right?" Credit where credit is due, the base overlay was fine but man that outfit was old. Needed quite a bit of elbow grease to bring it up to par. Could it look better? Yeah probably, I'll totally admit I fudged it near the end because I was spending way more time on an entirely different character's outfit for what was supposed to be a minor shout out. I'd imagine it wouldn't take all too long for Razor to finish the job so if you want a better version of the outfit, just give it a few days. Or weeks. Iunno, I have no idea what their update schedule is like. All I know they're damn good at making overlays and that the maid outfit I made for Severa is apparently good enough for them to use. (It's rather sloppy looking back at it.) That's pretty neat, I always like seeing my cards being used by other people. I mean that's why I even started making 'em to begin with anyways. The hell's the point in makin' em if no one's using them. It's like making food to look at but not eat y'know? 

All in all, in the time it took to make this card, I could've actually finished what I had planned to do for this month. Then again, I have a sneaking suspicion these stop gap measures are gonna wind up more popular than the actual releases since they'd be actually recognizable. Speaking of which, after I post what I had slated for this month, I've been tossing around what I should make next. Iunno who it'll be, but I'll give ya a hint as to who a potential candidate could be. Two words: Dragon Vergil. No promises tho. 

Man Vergil is so cool, honestly, if you make a character like Vergil I will like them immediately.
