Mucho gracias to Zeta! Were it not for him, this card wouldn't have been possible. 

I'm no 3D modeler, I think that's plainly obvious. I can't make shit in Blender, Maya, Grinder, what have you. So do enlighten me if you know why but how come there's no goddamn Christmas tree hair in Koikatu? (i.e spiky long hair.) Like you got a fuckton of hairstyles of all shapes n' sizes all except for the Christmas tree. What, is it hard to make or something? Unpopular? Koikatu has a hate campaign against anything and all Christmas related? What is it? 

While it's not purely a Fire Emblem/Kozaki thing, a fair share of them do have that kind of hairstyle. Unfortunately, as the above rant entailed, such a hair is incredibly rare/non existant and if you want that kind of hair, you're gonna have to Macgyver the shit out of it to achieve that look. 

So, one day I was scrolling through my mods seeing what was new and just fiddled around with shit seeing what I could do with them beyond the obvious. I was spinning this Amber hair (That Genshin impact chick who looks vaguely like Mumei.) around and I noticed something: One side of her hair looked like half of a Christmas tree. I've been meaning to make Ophelia for sometime but I just didn't have the right parts for it until now. I decided to give it a try and it worked beautifully! 

Up until I found out the textures were mirrored essentially meaning I couldn't erase the other half I didn't need without completely deleting everything. So close, and yet so far...

I've tried a bunch of other things but they just didn't work out and so as a hail Mary toss, I decided to ask Zeta if they could do a small favor and cut the other half of the hair. He not only accepted, but went above and beyond by making multiple versions of the hair making it very adjustable. 

So yeah, without him, I couldn't have made this and the door would've been left closed for any other characters with a similar hairstyle. Now I've got a lot more to work with, so thanks dude! 

Anyways, onto the actual character herself: Boy do I fucking hate veils. I hate them. Capes too. But capes are like whatever I can bullshit capes but veils? Unless it's custom built for the character there's always gonna be a little jank. Oh sure, maybe it looks properly around the headband, now let's see it in motion! GOOD LORD IT'S GETTING EVERYWHERE. Listen: I totally understand and can see the veil isn't wrapping properly but trust me on this: I TRIED.

I used Razor's Ophelia's outfit as a base and modified it extensively. Namely redoing the linework, removing unnecessary details, (e.g due to a Chinese dress being used as an outfit, the pattern would still appear in certain angles so I got rid of that.) added new ones, adjusting her bra thing to be triangular, and other stuff. 

Her eyebrows are a gradient because that's how it is in Heroes artwork. How do you guys feel about gradient eyebrows? Kind of an odd touch imo but I can live with it. Speaking of which, technically her leggings are supposed to be open heel and toes, but that's a bitch to do. Like the way the texture wraps around it makes it tricky to do both and make it look clean so I just said fuck it and gave up. Maybe there'll be a mod that has those exact same leggings then I'll do it but for now, enjoy your artistic license leggings. 

She doesn't have much in terms of alts as well, she doesn't have any alts in FEH. I guess I could've done Lissa's outfit but like, she's got this weird steel cage thing which actually does exist IRL. She did swap bodies with Soleil that one time in a B-Support so maybe that would've worked too. Iunno, I just went with an Awakening Dark Mage outfit and called it a day. The veil took a lot out of me okay. 

Soooo yeah that's all for now. I may or may not be releasing yet another Lucina because I have proper Christmas tree hair now or not maybe I'll do someone else. Who knows. Until then, see yaaaaaa.
