Original Title: Is This Worth an "Official Release"?
If you're looking for the link to the card, there isn't any. I want to get some responses first before I consider releasing it. On the plus side there isn't gonna be a charge this month.
You can read below for context, but if you're short on time here's the crux of the entire argument here:
Are my strict quality standards clashing against what you guys actually want? I'm of the belief that my level of quality is what keeps you guys around and while it does mean the stuff I output turns out good, it also means I don't release as many. Whether it be because I have to spend a lotta time working on them that I can't make as many, or in this case it's because I don't think it's good enough but I don't have time to make it good enough so it never sees the light of day.
Are you okay with me releasing cards of this quality, or are you like "Nah this needs more time in the oven. Release it when it's actually ready."?

Whaddoya Mean By Official Release?
By official release I mean like "Is this worth your money?"
Like, would you look at this and be like "Yeah I'm cool with shelling out money for this. This is the quality I signed up for." From my viewpoint, I don't think I did enough to warrant having this be an official release. Like, I don't know who I took the new top for Makoto as I can't seem to find it on the booru, or on Discord, maybe it's on Kenzaato iunno that site's real fucking laggy but maybe I grabbed it before the site went to shit. But yeah point is, I didn't make the top.
I did however, give her the new tail and hair. No custom iris or eyeline that's still the same just slightly adjusted. The only texture work I did was for her new side hair things (The parts of her hair that goes from brown to a very light latte like color.) and the tail. Technically the ears too but like come on that was just paint by the numbers anyone could have done that. That didn't require any actual effort.
Her pants could look better by making the belts that hang off of it integrated with the pants so that they don't clip into her body. Her shoes could be better too I didn't even change that. The guy I ripped the outfit from did though. She's still missing parts that hang off the top of socks too. The colors are off as well considering I'm basing her general look from her appearance in BBTAG.
Ok point is from where I'm standing, I can only see that there is a LOT to improve. But I don't want to put the time into this because not only do I want to work on other things, I STILL haven't finished Grima holy fuck. Believe me I thought I was joking too when I said "Hahah wouldn't it be funny if I released her on October. Hah yeah it would but I probably will finish way before then."
3 MONTHS LATER...
But I digress: So yeah seeing that there's still more I can work on but I haven't, I wonder if it's ok to release it officially. On one hand: It's a marked improvement from my first go around woof. On the other hand it's still the same Makoto now with a different wig. Iunno, maybe you guys are okay with that. I'm assuming you guys aren't though which is why I'm hesitant on making this an official release.
Well regardless I really want to pay my debt off so while I won't be able to do the showcase before the month is out, I'm going to rush Grima out the door. I only need to do her fucking paws and shoes that's all that's left! It's been almost done for weeks, I've just never been able to work up the motivation to finish it.
Yeah me working on Makoto was getting distracted again. I swear I made enough cards when I should be working on something else that they could be categorized into their own group. The "Playing Hooky" collection.
