Here we go again
Workflow:
DAMN, don't even remember what i said the last week XD. But anyway, advanced well on the sketch part, could have done more, maybe, certainly, but it's good enough i guess that you guys liked it so far!
This week gonna work mostly on due stuff! I plan to make a lil sketch series, first, wasn't planned as this, but why the fuck not. Then the long due character sheet i opened a vote about yesterday. And if it is done (wich i don't believe, me? Effective? HERESY!) maybe continue with another smole sketch series of pic due.
So, no work on comm, gonnna do it the way i want. Gonna be fun!
That said let's talk of what remain to be said!

Moar H GAMES:
So last week had the good surprise to see some of you telling me they tried iNSight-of-You, and they liked it, so i told myself that i could make you all, maybe, discover another game this way maybe. I don't think i would do this each weeks, but when i'm not sure of what writting here, reviewing a adult game once in a while (in a family friendly way) might be fun!

Lab Rats 2:
So the title might give you some hint, it's the second in a series (by the same man). The first was a more linear game and he moved on a more sandbox gamplay on this one.
In this game serie you play a lab ingeneer, in the first one you worked in a college research team and discovered some application of a serum developped there, that allowed you to make peoples quite "open" to suggestion, allowing you to shifting their view over time.
In the 2, several month have passed, all the change you made were temporary in the end. Without daily sugestion the subject get back from their usual self over time. But with the knowledge of this tech, you decide after a series of employment meeting that didn't go this well, to open your own company with one of the former girl student character from the first game. And this is at this point the game start, at the first day of your new company.
In LabRats2 you're quite free. You have tech to research, You have to recruit employees, manage your workforce, design the serums, decide of production setting, how and what is sold, etc etc. You don't like an element of the game or a fetish? Don't go this way then. This family friend's daughter is a goth chick and you're not into such person? Just decide to not go there or not interact, you don't have to. Your roomate don't interest you? Just don't dose her.
The game propose scenarios for some characters, but the rest is generated with random stats and personality. Even the named character got their stats and personality trait changed each new game. This game your roomate is a submissive slut, next time could be a frigid girl that HATE giving blowjob. Forcing you to rediscover and deal with them differently in each playthrough.
The bad: The game isn't pretty. It may be me, but i find most of the character model ugly. At least their faces. It's clearly not the best side of the game. There is several base head, and on 5 or 6 , i find half ugly as hell. That might be a big no-no for most people i think, but in the end it's mostly taste element!
The lag might be a problem, even with a big pc. Vren the creator used Ren'py as base, and tbh, it's an IMPRESSIVE work on it, but the engine wasn't build at all to process all of this, and more than once it crashed. Removing some of the option specific to the game isn't a bad idea to make it more stable.
The good: it's a true sandbox management game with adult element. And the management is really interesting. I won't lie, when i started playing it, for a time i just didn't went on the adult part, and focussed on the best strategy to label, sell and produce my serums. There's room for Min-Maxing there, and you can spend time on it.
It's not a Grand strategy game tough, and made by one dude alone, (most of time) so it got limit, and once you get how to make a shitton of money you can repeat in each playthrough, as the tech and way to unlock them don't change.
There's also a quite BIG modding community, that add event, elements of gameplay, strat and serums component. So once you've finished with the main game i highly recomand to give it a try, it really add Hours of gameplay to a game that can take a huge part of your time once you're hooked!
Note, the game is quite slow. You don't make mind-control stuff, you make serums that just increase suggestibility, so by itself, do nothing, you got to interact with a person to make it so. At least at the begining, later on there's serum combinaison that can turn a girl in a self propelled slut machine, but again, that's late game strat there!
General advice: good game, worth a try and the money you can toss at Vren's patreon if interested! But it's mostly for peoples into Management/strat/corp building games. If you seek complex story and dialogue with stunning visual, it's clearly not for you.
