So what to say about this week. Last month been hard to focus on drawing., lot of stuff happened, Had my tooth removed, got another one Monday to come. my mom and sister came visit me, i reach 38 yo, restarted to go to sport on a regular basis (last months were slightly off rythm, like once a week, then once every two weeks).
It's not that i don't feel like drawing, or i art block, it's that i wanted to take time on the picture i did for a moment. Just Chill, give it a nice look.
We're at a time when artist are always forced to run run run, produce produce produce or social media ll forget you, you won't make new clients, you won't go further into the future.
It's frightening somehow..
And IA came, and they do it faster than us. Not better, in art all is based on relative. It's a question of taste, nothing is inherantly better or worse, out of the viewer's eye.
When i say my art isn't good, i speak of my own vision and perception of it.
But IA is sure faster. So they produce more.. so on a way.. why rush? I wanna make something i like. Not for the result, but also to enjoy the time i take doing it.
So it's why i took it easy on the time.. and i feel great about it actually. Yeah i got a lot of stuff to do on the list. But as long as i'm alive i'll work on it eventually, so i took my time.
Thanks you for giving me this opportunity. Now i wanna do some quick sketches, wanna try to see if a quite sketchy style with effet look good when i do it. So ll be what i'll test in the coming week end.
