Great video as always. Always impressed by the depth of your research. I think it's interesting you cite Australia as a positive example. Having lived in the country for the past decade, very few (if any) progressive Australians have a positive view of the country's immigration policy. It gets to a tension that you allude you but I think you could explore in greater depth. The raw immigration data seems to matter less in narrative construction than how people are arriving and from where. In a similar vein to 'Invention of Individual Responsibility', tracing the Genealogy of Asylum as a separate vid could combine some of these themes. Sprinkle in some Foucault biopolitics and you got a stew going!

This was a great video, I like all of them, to be honest. I was wondering if you could do a video on free will. Specifically dealing with Ben Shapiro’s remarks on the book “the atheist delusion” where he makes certain arguments about morality, free will, and makes arguments from change. It’s a terrible book but I know some will need a guide to help them navigate through his word salad arguments.
