Wraith Ink Commission
Added 2021-09-15 00:20:36 +0000 UTCA couple of Wraith skin variants. Skin of choice was up to me, so I picked Quarantine 722 and the commissioner requested an Airship Assassin as a variant, the second image.
This time I allowed myself to redraw over my initial sketch a few times. I have these hard standards for myself, as if out of principle, when drawing, the first line is almost the final line and doing redraws of something means I'm not skilled.. its very silly i know.. I was watching a twitch drawing stream for Lightbox Expo with Nicholas Kole and Claire Hummel. They sort of talked about these weird principles on themselves that just make their lives more difficult as artists. I then later saw a tweet by Nicholas of his process and how he couldn't see himself making meaningful art if we set ourselves to these odd standards we've made up.
