Joanna Dark commissions + sketches
Added 2022-06-03 13:01:48 +0000 UTCFinished up the second commission for Graslu00. He requested a recreation of his iconic pfp from the Perfect Dark GBC game. What follows are some initial face exploration sketches of Joanna in chronological order. I didn't get it right the first time, then I slowly found something that felt more like her then thumbed out the dress illo. I did a little reading and found out her face was more or less inspired by Winona Ryder so that was a big help, especially find photos of that shorty messy pixie cut. I love her messy hair in the GBC version, I almost wish they kept that style in the N64 game. Graslu provided me with a ton of wonderful reference for this so big s/o to that! I've provided my ref board as well as the original inspiration screenshots.
