welp, the state of twitter leaves rather conflicted. its dying, but i need to keep posting to get my work out there and seen. i am on bsky but the traction is rather abysmal since its still a closed platform. i could be more active uploading to pinterest or linkedin even. but for these spicier posts, i can't post this kind of nsfw content on either of those platforms. i think i need to look into other avenues of sharing my work and talking about it, whether it be through youtube videos or tiktoks. Youtube is something I've given thought to before, and is nice in the fact that i can flag things for maturity if i need to. its just the time sink that is editing videos i worry will eat my already limited time in the day, amongst the 100 other things I've got going on. if i did choose to do this, it would be a pretty casual approach to videos w/o burning me out. i need to think how i would approach it, what kind of content/information am i sharing exactly, real time timelapes? maybe robert valley type videos where i go into a little more depth about a particular project or art making philosophies and just say what i'm thinking, complete with a slideshow like video of any relevant drawings/materials. It would be extremely personal and not really a tutorial or guide or anything like that.
oh yea, Procreate Dreams is coming out in November! i don't do a whole lot of animating these days, since its not really my focus, more of a hobby and never finding any programs with tools i really like to work with. I think once that comes out, It'll enable me to jump into my animation chops a bit and do some fun small animation. probably more hl + portal fan animations and experiments with my sniper gal OC/worldbuilding.
how does this sound? if i did tend to my YT and made more vids, what kind of stuff would you want to see? I'd love to know so please tell me in the comments!
